| Membership
in AGTA is beneficial to all companies related to airport ground transportation
operators and airports. Not only is a great array of information available,
but many issues affecting your business are addressed. AGTA also provides
a semiannual forum for its membership
to meet, discuss, and be educated on the latest issues.
The members of AGTA are divided into five classes: OPERATOR MEMBERS: This class consists of persons, firms, or corporations, trustees or receivers, municipal or other governmental agencies within the boundaries of the United States of America or its possessions, the Dominionof Canada and the Republic of Mexico, engaged in the businessof for-hire transportation of persons, property or mail, incidental to the transportation of such by aircraft. These members must possess appropriate operating authority to serve the airport. Operator Members shall have such privileges and sevices of this corporation as are prescribed from time to time by the Board of Directors and shall be entitled to vote as hereinafter set forth in these By-Laws. AIRPORT MEMBERS: This class consists of such persons, firms or corporations, trustees or receivers, municipal or other governmental agencies engaged in the operation of an airport. Airport Members shall have such privileges and sevices of this corporation as are prescribed from time to time by the Board of Directors and shall be entitled to vote as hereinafter set forth in these By-Laws. ASSOCIATE MEMBERS: This class consists of such persons, firms or corporations, trustees or receivers, municipal or other governmental agencies engaged in the business of courtesy transportation of persons incidental to the transportation of such by Aircraft or whose connection with this corporation is desirable in the opinion of the Board of DIrectors. Associate Members shall have such privileges and sevices of this corporation as are prescribed from time to time by the Board of Directors. ALLIED MEMBERS: This class consists of such persons, firms or corporations who provide equipment, services, or materials to those members engaged in the business of furnishing for-hire transportation of persons, property or mail, incidental to the transportation of such by aircraft. Allied Members shall have such privileges and services of this corporation as are prescribed from time to time by the Board of Directors. |
