Job Summary:
The Account Executive position is primarily responsible for revenue generation through net new customers as well as renewing and retaining the current customers in the assigned region. This role is responsible for business $50,000 GCV or less. The Account Executive will create opportunities and drive revenue by meeting with prospects on site, communicating by phone, email, and teleconference while providing subject matter expertise regarding technical scoping and suitable products to solve their various challenges, needs, and wants.

Job Description:
Essential Functions

● Lead sales efforts for assigned territory
● Handle Customer Experience cases
● Work with internal teams to bid on Request for Proposals
● Manage relationships with transit leaders and decision makers within the industry
● Manage sales pipeline from discovery to close
● Manage a full sales cycle: Prospect for new customers, host online demos, create
proposals, and close deals.
● Attend events and industry specific conferences or trade shows when necessary
● Assist teammates with higher level process items needed to achieve the overall
team goal
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

● Keen ability to manage problems as they arise during relationship building
● Strong knowledge of transportation industry and trends within the industry
preferred
● Must be proficient in Google Suite, Salesforce, and various other software
programs
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
● Proven track record of working cross-functionally within an organization

  • Must have high energy and maintain a positive attitude while executing stressful tasks

Minimum Qualifications

● Bachelor’s Degree preferred
● 3+ years working in relationship building or customer facing role in a SaaS
environment
● Ability and confidence to meet with decision makers within other organizations,
preferably within the Transit and Software industry
● Excellent presentation and communication skills
● Willingness and ability to travel around the United States and other locations to
meet with prospective and current business partners
