We are a trade association for ground transportation operators, airport authorities, and industry suppliers dedicated to the continuous improvement of airport ground transportation services for the traveling public.
Change isn't ever easy... Some airports and operators have tried to adapt by trial and error. Why not take advantage of their experience(s) and save your operation and/or airport both time and money. Announcing the theme for the September 11 - 14, 2016 AGTA Denver Conference... Adapting to The New Environment
Registration is now open for our Fall 2016 conference. Join us in Denver to hear how the industry is changing and how these changes are impacting both the airports and the transportation operators who serve them.
AGTA is pleased to announce that Noted labor relations attorney James Foster will update delegates on Recent Trends and Moves of the NLRB to ease the formation of unions and constrain the ability to use independent contractors in the airport ground transportation industry.
The current movement of deregulated airport ground transportation is a new reality for many in the industry and AGTA will be addressing this topic with speaker Don Griffin, a Business Development Manager with Lyft Inc. along with representatives from SFO and SEATAC airports.
In keeping with the conference theme, AGTA will be hosting a panel discussion with senior representatives from off-airport parking companies representing 85 facilities from 40 different airports. The panelists will be addressing the need for a level playing field in these times of changing rules and ever increasing charges amidst the flood of new low cost transportation options including TNCs, hotels, anyone with a parking area etc.. now playing at the airports.
These and numerous other topics impacting the management of your business or curb will be the focus of this meeting. Use the experiences of your colleagues in making smart decisions for your operation or airport. Register today!
A complete meeting agenda along with sponsorship opportunities is available in the Fall 2016 information found under the Meetings and Events tab. We look forward to seeing you in Denver on Sept. 11-14, 2016.
