    Job Summary:
    The Account Executive position is primarily responsible for revenue generation through net new customers as well as renewing and retaining the current customers in the assigned region. This role is responsible for business $50,000 GCV or less. The Account Executive will create opportunities and drive revenue by meeting with prospects on site, communicating by phone, email, and teleconference while providing subject matter expertise regarding technical scoping and suitable products to solve their various challenges, needs, and wants.

    Essential Functions

    ● Lead sales efforts for assigned territory
    ● Handle Customer Experience cases
    ● Work with internal teams to bid on Request for Proposals
    ● Manage relationships with transit leaders and decision makers within the industry
    ● Manage sales pipeline from discovery to close
    ● Manage a full sales cycle: Prospect for new customers, host online demos, create
    proposals, and close deals.
    ● Attend events and industry specific conferences or trade shows when necessary
    ● Assist teammates with higher level process items needed to achieve the overall
    team goal
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    ● Keen ability to manage problems as they arise during relationship building
    ● Strong knowledge of transportation industry and trends within the industry
    ● Must be proficient in Google Suite, Salesforce, and various other software
    ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
    ● Proven track record of working cross-functionally within an organization

    • Must have high energy and maintain a positive attitude while executing stressful tasks

    Minimum Qualifications

    ● Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    ● 3+ years working in relationship building or customer facing role in a SaaS
    ● Ability and confidence to meet with decision makers within other organizations,
    preferably within the Transit and Software industry
    ● Excellent presentation and communication skills
    ● Willingness and ability to travel around the United States and other locations to
    meet with prospective and current business partners

    Salt Lake City Corporation (City), through its Department of Airports (SLCDA), is inviting proposals from qualified firms to provide contracted taxicab services at the Salt Lake City International Airport (Airport).


    The RFP package can be obtained by prospective Respondents beginning May 6, 2022 by registering online at https://solutions.sciquest.com/apps/Router/SupplierLogin?CustOrg=StateOfUtah.  It is the responsibility of each Respondent to register through the Utah Public Procurement Place Supplier Portal (UPPP) and frequently monitor it for any changes or updates affecting this RFP after the original posting date.  Proposals will only be received by email to cole.hobbs@slcgov.com, Airport Contracts and Procurement Manager, until 2 p.m. local mountain time on June 24, 2022.  Respondents may contact Shauna Henderson at (801) 575-2978 with questions regarding the website.

    The Parking and Ground Transportation Revenue Manager is responsible for negotiating and administering revenue generating contracts and management agreements related to the parking and ground transportation operations of the Airport including the parking revenue control system agreement, the online parking reservation system agreement, the rental car concession agreements, the taxi operating agreements, transportation network operating agreements, and any other ground transportation related agreements as may be appropriate. 

    Responsible for contracts and agreements that currently generate in excess of $80M in annual revenue.  Works with internal and external stakeholders optimize revenue strategies, maintain contract compliance, ensure proper revenue collection, and resolve issues.  Must function independently at a high level; be able to multi-task and balance business acumen with people skills.  Work is performed with latitude for discretion, independent judgment, and action under minimal supervision; initiative is required.  Work requires extensive contact with internal and external customers.  This position reports to the Airport’s Business & Revenue Director.

    Reporting to the Deputy Commercial Officer (DCO), the Transportation Planning Manager will direct the Manager of Ground Transportation (MGT) and the Manager of Parking (MP) and provide support to the DCO and Aviation Commercial Officer (ACO) in the identification of best practices and innovative trends in airport transportation and development and implementation of strategies for the preservation and enhancement of transportation revenues at the Port Authority’s five-airport system (Newark Liberty International, JFK International, LaGuardia, New York Stewart International, and Teterboro Airports).     Trained curb coordinators in the CMP manage curb space and staging lots used by taxis, limousines and Transportation Network Companies ("TNCs"), and facilitate transportation services for customers with special transportation needs (e.g., physically disabled, visually impaired and the elderly).

    The successful Proposer will manage and/or monitor the ground transportation operations of limousine operators, San Francisco taxicabs, pick-up activities of non-San Francisco taxicabs and monitor TNC vehicles.
