Biography:
 

Aaron Flake serves as the Director of Parking and Ground Transportation for the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority (MKAA/TYS). In this role, Aaron’s responsibilities include steering TYS’s future vision, conducting needs assessments, analyzing data, managing contract execution and compliance, overseeing the adoption of new technology, forecasting, and enhancing operational procedures for parking and ground transportation.

Before joining MKAA, Aaron commenced his professional career with an honorable service record in the United States Marine Corps. Subsequently, he has ventured into various industries, including telecommunications, training, parking, government analysis, and firefighting. Aaron started his airport career in 2019 with the Ontario International Airport, and the Nashville International Airport. In these roles Aaron managed parking, ground transportation, real estate, concessions and rental cars.

Aaron holds a bachelor's degree in public administration (magna cum laude) from California Baptist University and is a Certified Member (C.M.) with the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).
