Biography:
 

Allen is currently Vice President/General Manager of Coach USA-Van Galder Bus Company, a Midwestern transportation company based in Janesville, Wisconsin.  Van Galder Bus was a privately owned business until 1999 when acquired by Coach USA.  Allen has worked in various capacities within the business since 1985.  Van Galder Bus Company operates daily scheduled bus service in the Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois region, operates a large charter bus fleet, offers per-capita tours to a loyal base of travelers in the region, and has provided continuous school bus transportation to the Janesville School District for over 70 years.   

Allen was born and raised in Janesville, Wisconsin; Allen is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a business marketing major. 

Allen has served on the Airport Ground Transportation Board of Directors since 2002 and served as President from 2009-2010.  Allen is a Director of the Wisconsin Motorcoach Association, President of the O’Hare Intercity Bus Association, serves on the Blackhawk Technical College Diesel Advisory Board, and served as Chairman of the City of Janesville Transportation Committee.
