Biography:
 

Misty Richards serves as Grant Coordinator for the Center for Transportation Research at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Through an agreement between the university and AGTA, she began serving as an administrator for AGTA in 2022, officially moving into the Administrator role in September 2023 upon Sandy's retirement from the role. 

Prior to joining UT in 2022, Misty served for 12 years in state government within the transportation industry as administrative support staff. 

Misty earned a BA in English in 2005 and an MS in Communication and Information in 2024, both from the University of Tennessee. Misty and her husband have two daughters who keep them busy with various activities.
